As you can see in these graphs provided by the NWMLS, home prices remain strong in Whatcom County. The average sales price (not to be confused with the median sales price) was down slightly with a 1.8% dip from the same time in 2022. At the same time, the average “sale to list price” remained strong as well with homes selling for 99% of the home’s last listed price, which was down 2.4% from the same time in 2022. The BIGGEST change in all the stats I looked through, was the “Average Days on Market” with a 72% increase from a year ago. November 2022 showed an average of 22 DOM, whereas November 2023 had an average of 38 DOM.
